Our dancers put on quite a show last Saturday night at the 2023 “Movie Night” Dance Showcase.
The energetic audience were treated to fantastic evening which highlighted the talent, hard work, and professionalism of these amazing young people.
With each routine inspired by a movie, such as Addams Family, Rush Hour, The Great Gatsby, Grease, Scream, and many more, the performances and media were tied in to create a “Movie Night” experience for the crowd to enjoy.
Congratulations to every student who danced or worked behind the scenes to create a flawless event! We encourage each of you to continue to develop your talent in performance so we can so we can see you again next year!
This would not be possible without the creative talent and hard work of our Dance Teachers, Heather Cargill and Angela Perry, along with Salina Tairoski. Much of the time taken to run the Unity Dance Program and Performing Arts Academy is done in their own time on top of their regular workload. Thank you also to Performing Arts Head of Learning Area, Jenny Drpich, and the many more staff helpers it takes to make this happen.
Also, thank you to our wonderful audience who came down to support the performers. You were great, we hope you enjoyed the show, and we hope to see you back next year!
