Girrawheen SHS is thrilled to be a finalist in the WA Education Awards for the second year in a row! This year’s nomination is in the Excellence in Teaching and Learning (Secondary) category. We are one of three finalist schools in the State.
This really is a testament to our wonderful staff, students and partners. Thank you to our staff who go above and beyond for our students, often coordinating extra-curricular activities on top of their workload in their own time.
This nomination comes after a wonderful year in 2021 for the school, where STEM Teacher, Charan Pabla, was named as the 2021 Premier’s Secondary Teacher of the Year and Girrawheen SHS was one of four schools in the finals for WA Secondary School of the Year.
