Charis in Year 9 is one of 35 girls throughout Western Australia to attend the 2022 Young Women’s Leadership Development Program. The program ran for two days at Curtin University, where dedicated mentors helped young women across the state to reach their potential as future leaders, in a bid to close the gap in gender equality.
Topics were focused on leadership confidence, communication skills, goal setting, mentoring, career exploration, and strengthening community involvement and advocacy.
