Girrawheen SHS was buzzing with excitement last Thursday when we had ex-student and Bronze Medal Olympic Basketballer, Duop Reath visit, along with some of his crew. Channel 10 News First and the Department of Education even came along for the occasion. As well as ball drills, students received invaluable advice from Duop in a Q&A session where they asked him questions about his journey and his future plans. It has become apparent that the staff and students at Girrawheen SHS are “Team Duop” and are excited to see him continue to grow.
