Girrawheen Senior High School is celebrating it’s 50 Year Anniversary with a Time Capsule Event – and we want you to join us for it!
In celebration of our 50 Year Anniversary, we will be digging up our old time capsule, and burying a new one on Friday 1st November 2024.
Time: 12pm-2:40pm
Who: All current and former staff, students, families and friends
Where: Girrawheen SHS Front Quadrangle
From 12pm-1:25pm visitors are welcome to do a school walk-through, to bring back some old memories from their time at Girrawheen SHS. This will be during class-time. Photos from previous years will also be on display.
From 1:25pm-1:55pm there will be a sausage sizzle available to purchase, as well as coffee, soft serves and slushies from Shiraz Soft Serve food truck and bubble tea from Honey Creme food truck.
From 2pm-2:40pm will be the official unveiling of the old time capsule and burying of the new time capsule.
