STEM is an educational approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics as access points for guiding student learning. This program offers the opportunity to students to be curious learners of the world around them. Through this club, we aim to instill an innovative mindset among the students and get them excited about learning.
With access to structured learning the participants will develop their ability in problem solving, analytical and critical thinking, creativity, confidence, communication and collaboration.
The skills developed through STEM will become their foundation to succeed at school and beyond. At Girrawheen SHS, we strongly believe that the STEM powered skills, projects and experiences will set our students apart in their future careers.
STEM Club runs as an after-school program one day a week from our school’s STEM Centre.
