Society and Environment

Society and Environment develops understanding of how individuals and groups live together and interact with their environment.

Students learn about cultural heritage, social justice, politics and environmental sustainability.

The process of inquiry develops the following skills:

  • Ability to ask relevant questions
  • Critical analysis
  • Respect and explain different perspectives
  • Develop and substantiate interpretations
  • Communication

Society and Environment is compulsory for all students in Years 8 to 10. Senior School students can specialise in the following subject areas:

  • History
  • Politics and Law
  • Career and Enterprise
