As a committed staff, our teachers are accountable for and committed to:

  • Offering every opportunity for students to engage in learning, collaboratively and independently, whilst growing in confidence and self-esteem.
  • Working collaboratively to make a valuable contribution to increase the development of the whole student.
  • Being role models and guides for learning and achievement who listen, encourage and are accepting of students at each developmental phase.
  • Demonstrating high expectations of positive behaviour and helping students achieve this.
  • Building positive relationships by fostering the values of the school community.
  • Regularly monitoring student work and providing purposeful feedback to students, parents and carers.
  • Reflecting on classroom strategies, with an aim to improve student learning.
  • Supporting the New North Education Initiative Partnership that affords an increased range of course offerings for our students.
