GIRRAWHEEN SHS ANNUAL REPORT

The school's annual report provides our community with an overview of student performance during each academic year.

The annual report is aligned to the school's Business Plan and outlines academic achievement, attendance and captures some of the year's highlights. We are proud of our school community that is comprised of a rich and diverse cultural student population. The school's motto, "Unity is strength," is highly valued across our school community.

The Year 12 Class of 2017 achieved positive results in their Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) examinations, as well as their Vocational Education and Training (VET) certificates. Two of our Year 12 students successfully gained opportunities to attend a National Youth Science forum in Canberra, sponsored by Heirisson Rotary.

This year's Annual Report reflects a positive 2017 school year at Girrawheen Senior High School. I respectfully acknowledge and thank the outstanding work of all our staff, our School Board, P&C, parents, volunteers, our business and community partners.

I am pleased to present the Girrawheen Senior High School 2017 Annual report.
