Drugs Policy

The school does not permit students, school staff, other workers or visitors to possess drugs/solvents while on school premises, or to:

  • Smoke tobacco products
  • Consume alcoholic beverages
  • Deliberately inhale solvents
  • Possess drug-related equipment except in cases of lawful medical use.
  • Use prohibited drugs in accordance with the Misuse of Drugs Act 1981.

Analgesics and Prescription Medication

Analgesic and prescription drugs are to be held in the Health Care Centre. The School Nurse is the only member of staff permitted to administer analgesics to students.
