Setting foundations for student learning
We teach to the Australian Curriculum, providing a comprehensive education that prepares students for the challenges of Senior School.
The curriculum covers seven broad learning areas:
- English
- Health & Physical Education
- Mathematics
- Science
- Society & Environment
- The Arts (Media, Visual Art, Dance, Drama)
- Technology & Enterprise (Woodwork, Jewellery, Metalwork, Home Economics, Computing)
Emphasis is placed on:
- Encouraging growth.
- Understanding the need to succeed in all years in order to develop a meaningful pathway.
- Enjoyment of learning.
- Developing skills for academic success - study skills, revision, work ethic, respect and care for self and others.
