Our Curriculum
Programs tailored for student needs
Our comprehensive curriculum encourages students to achieve secondary school graduation and pursue further education and training or employment.
We are proud of the choices we are able to provide for our students, with our curriculum allowing for both academic and vocational pursuits. All students are catered for and programs are tailored to meet student needs.
We boast a number of specialised programs that allow students to vigorously pursue their interests:
- Mathematics Academy - mathematics support and extension
- Performing Arts Academy - extending performance skills in dance and drama
- Trade Training Centre - building and construction learning facility
We continue to build and develop a structure that facilitates the effective delivery of curriculum.
Year 8 and 9 students benefit from a curriculum that focuses on literacy, numeracy and pathway planning to provide academic opportunity and support.
In the Senior School, Years 10, 11 and 12 students have access to courses that support university entrance or further training, education and employment. Students work to achieve theirWACE (Western Australian Certificate of Education) at the completion of Year 12.
Our VET program has a strong emphasis on opportunities to complete Certificate courses and we are proud of the wide range of programs available to our students.
The Education Support Inclusive Learning Program enables programs to be tailored to individual requirements, ensuring we are meeting the learning needs of all students.
