New North Education Initiative
Enabling curriculum choices beyond the limits of our school
The New North Education Initiative (NNEI) is a collaborative partnership between Balga, Eastern Hills, Girrawheen, Mirrabooka and Morley Senior High Schools within the Northern Metropolitan Education Region.
Students benefit from shared curriculum delivery across the five schools and have a greater number of courses available to them.
This partnership provides enhanced opportunities for our students and demonstrates the best of educational delivery for young adult learning.
While remaining attached to their 'home' school, students have access to:
- a wider breadth of Senior School curriculum choices
- specialist teachers
- improved results
The partnership has attracted considerable interest throughout the State and there are currently 31 NNEI courses offered.
