Encouraging students to strive for academic excellence
Our curriculum is based on the School Curriculum and Standards Authority Curriculum Framework and is outcomes-focused.
The Framework sets out the 'knowledge, understanding, skills, values and attitudes that students are expected to acquire'.
We provide a learning experience that is suited to student interests, abilities and aspirations. Staff recognise the need for different approaches and are equipped with a range of teaching strategies and technology resources.
The diverse cultural and linguistic background of our students necessitates a strong focus on literacy to support them through their formal education. We also develop programs designed to address issues of the social disadvantage that some of our students may experience.
Academic opportunities are available to all students through a curriculum that allows for both academic and vocational pursuit.
We are committed to providing a differentiated and stimulating curriculum that encourages students to strive for academic excellence.
